How to Book More Calls with Your Newsletter

One of the most effective ways for service businesses to boost revenue through email marketing is by driving more discovery and consultation calls. Here’s how to do it:

  • Use Call-to-Actions (CTAs) Wisely: Don’t just mention your services in passing—make every email actionable. For example, you can end your emails with, “If you’re looking to get [specific service] done in record time, let’s chat.” Make it easy for recipients to click a link and book a call. Here’s an example:

Book a free 30-minute consultation with me to talk through your entire newsletter and email marketing strategy: Book a Call.

  • Highlight Social Proof: People are more likely to book a call if they see that others have benefitted from your service. Include testimonials, success stories, or case studies within your emails. Here’s one from our website:

  • Automate Follow-ups: If someone clicks on your booking link but doesn’t complete the scheduling process, send a follow-up email. Remind them about the value of your consultation and offer an incentive for booking, like a free audit or personalized report.

P.S. If you click on my calendly link but don’t book… why? You’ll be hearing from me soon…

Offer Highly Targeted Content

Here’s how to tailor your email marketing to the specific needs of your prospects and clients:

  • Segment Your List: Group your email list based on factors like behavior, stage in the buyer journey, and service interest. For example, new subscribers could receive educational content about your services, while past clients could be nurtured with offers for additional services.

  • Provide Solutions, Not Just Sales Pitches: Make sure your emails are about solving real problems for your audience. Give actionable tips, like “3 steps to scale your [specific service],” and then subtly direct them to book a consultation with you.

There you have it!
